My Uncle Fern's general well being has really improved since he moved to Edgewood Vista in East Grand Forks. He is more alert, he has regained control of his bladder and bowels, his edema is virtually gone, and he is moving around again.

I attribute the reversal of his condition to the care he has received at Edgewood. The greatly increased individual attention he receives has made it possible to markedly reduce his daily medication. I truly believe the management and staff at Edgewood are to be commended for the reversal of my uncle's previously deteriorating condition.

I am so happy to know there is a facility like Edgewood that can work with an individual who is suffering like Fern is, and get such good results. I am so pleased with the attitudes at Edgewood, the friendliness I see there, the staff's ability to relate to patients, and the way they take time with families to discuss an individual's case.

The staff is well trained and knows what to expect in a patient with Alzheimer's. I didn't find that to be true in the other facilities where my uncle was. The staff has even educated me on this disease, and it's been most helpful. Our whole family is just amazed. We think there should be many facilities just like this one!

Since we moved my mother to Edgewood Vista, her turn-around has been unbelievable. I had read about Edgewood in The Missoulian, so I went and visited there. I found it absolutely wonderful, but I was afraid my mother might be too far advanced in her Alzheimer's.

Mom was very despondent. She was losing her living skills and the emotional and spiritual side of her was slipping away fast. Now she's active, and doing things again.
